Woodstock, IL Website

The Drought & Heat Continue

We still have plenty of product to choose from at the market. Many vegetables may be a bit smaller than usual and many are in shorter supply but our farmers continue to do everything they possibly can to bring fresh products to their tables each week. We thank each and every one of them for all of their extra efforts. This is a difficult time for them and all your good thoughts are welcome.

Quick Notes

Turtle Bay Naturals is back at the market tomorrow but will not be bringing lotion bars or lip balms due to the heat.

We ask you to please stay hydrated as you come down to the market. There are several stores you can duck into for a quick cool down on the Square as well as several restaurants offering water and other beverages. There is also a water fountain on the east side of the park in the Square.

Pop's Premier Kettlecorn will not be at the market on Saturday.

Everly Nursery says they should have purple cherokee tomatoes within about two weeks and they will keep us updated.

The Jump Rope Girls will be on hand Saturday selling their beautiful custom jump ropes during the Kid's Day festivities at the market.

Know Your Vendor Contest

Here's the picture from one of our vendors. You have until 6pm on Friday night to guess who the vendor is in the picture (not Santa). Since you may not know the person's name, we will accept the name of the business for the stand they are in. All submissions with the correct vendor name will be entered into a random drawing for the $5 market token for use at any stand at the market.

To submit your guess, go to our website at www.woodstockfarmersmarket.org and complete the form on the bottom of the main page. More information is available there as well. (Vendors and their families are not eligible to win the contest.)
