Winter Market is coming in November. We have added the first Saturday in January, February, March and April to the schedule. We are open the first 3 Saturdays in November and the first 4 Saturdays in December, as well. Hours will be from 9am-Noon. The Winter Market is located at the McHenry County Farm Bureau building at 1102 McConnell Rd in Woodstock, just off Rte 47.

Applefest begins September 22 - October 8, 2012 at Royal Oak Farm Orchard.

Brook Farm has plenty of potatoes available for a delicious potato soup or stew this weekend.

Stop by the MaD Dyes stand and get the details from Dustin on his 20% off special on summer merchandise including tie-dyed dresses, t-shirts, and onesies!

Pop's Premier Kettlecorn will feature White Cheddar, Chicago Mix, Caramel, Cinnamon and standard Kettlecorn.

Delicja is making apple cinnamon bars with walnuts and apple sauce. Stop by and check out what else they've cooked up and don't forget the pierogi.

Get your Autumn decorations along with some wonderful produce and jams at Sosinski Produce's stand.

If you get a bit too chilled this weekend, stop by the Blueloom and Bumblebee Acres stands for some beautiful handcrafted hats, gloves, and other seasonal items.

On Saturday 9/22 & Saturday 9/29, Ohana Farms is having a 50% Off Truck Load of Big Trees Special at the market on their LARGE SIZE (but not too large to fit into an SUV, pickup or car trunk) 10 & 15 gallon container grown trees. Varieties...include Pin Oak, Deborah Maple, Crimson King Maple, Sugar Maple , Red Sunset Maple, Skyline Honeylocust, Prairie Fire & Sargent Crab, and Japanese Tree Lilac. Also 50% off on all remaining Douglas Fir & White Pine 3/5 gallon size.

Raffle tickets are available at the information stand until noon on Saturday for the 09/22 drawing for the $450 worth of vendor products. Tickets are $2 or 3 for $5. Proceeds benefit the market's Link Program.

Dog Costume Contest

On Saturday, October 20th we will be holding a doggie costume contest. All contestants must have on some sort of costume or outfit in order to participate. We will have all the dogs come by the contest tent to have their picture taken and information submitted. We will then post all of the contestants' pictures on the website for everyone to submit their vote for their favorite costumed dog. The winner will be announced the following Saturday. 1st prize will be $25 in market tokens. 2nd prize will be $10 in market tokens, and 3rd prize will win a $5 market token. All prizes are being donated by Heidi Maschmann Multimedia Marketing.
