Mission Statement
Increase home gardeners success & enjoyment by providing easy, beautiful garden plants, plans and know-how.  Elizabeth Melle is a Grower, Certified Landscape Management/ Designer & Gardener.  Liz has lived in Crystal Lake for over 23 years with her family.  Mary Napolitano is a Grower & Gardener who specializes in Kitchen (Potager) Garden Design.  Mary has lived in McHenry with her family for over 12 years. Liz & Mary share a love of gardening, frappuccinos and fun.

 In addition to plants, veggies and our Signature Merchandise, Potting Bench also offers the following: Plans - Landscape designs from small gardens beds to complete property plans, as well as specialty gardens design:  kitchen (potager), herb knot, railroad, cut flower gardens Know-How - Weeding, dividing perennials, installations, spring/fall clean up.  We are available for seminars to garden clubs and other specialty groups on a variety of subjects.
