For the past 3 decades I have been bringing my olive oil to the United States from Greece. Other oils cannot compare to the fruity, buttery and peppery taste of my own Greek oil. There is nothing else like it! My customers know the value of quality olive oil as an important ingredient in their healthy cooking. My Greek olive oil is 100% extra virgin, first cold-press, made from olives grown on trees on my family’s farm in Greece.
May’s Honey Farms began producing “Sunny Hill Honey” in Chicago, Illinois back in 1948. Sunny Hill Honey is harvested within 50 miles of the Marengo plant producing truly local honey. The honey comes from local wildflowers such as white sweet clover, yellow sweet clover, dutch clover, alfalfa, and lynden blossoms. This combination makes for the best tasting honey around. “Sunny Hill Honey” is sold all over the Chicagoland area at fine independent grocers and fresh produce retailers.
I started baking my own breads because I missed the hearty, satisfying German fare. After completing a month long apprenticeship with a German baker overseas in February 2013, I started baking ‘officially’ and have been selling my goodies at various farmers’ markets throughout the seasons.
As a family, we believe that organic is the way to go; it is very important to minimize the stress we put on our bodies every single day. So much is out of our control but eating organic foods is one thing we have in our hands.
We are continuously expanding where our products can be found. Check our website MonikasOrganicBakery.com for more details.
